A book group program with volunteers in the studio discussing the book and a phone line open for listeners to join in with their comments. Listeners are notified in advance which book will be discussed.

Brings the world of theatre to listeners from Old Time Radio, Drama, Comedy and original scripts written by Audio Journal volunteers.

Science Journal

Hosted by University of Massachusetts Scientists, who keep listeners up to date with the latest discoveries in the world of science.

An Older Voice

Readings from AARP Modern Maturity magazine and other articles, giving up to date information on issues relevant to our older listeners.

History, Our Past and Future

Readings from history magazines, Internet articles, books and journals. The program's aim is to report on what has happened, so we might consequently find out what could happen.

Focus on Health

Brings up to the minute information on drugs, new medical updates and all you need to know to keep healthy and fit.

A Common Voice

Helps to give advice and information about living in the community with your disability. Readings are from New Mobility, Dialogue and Braille Monitor magazines and other relevant newspaper articles.

Cooking in the Dark

Blind hosts Dale Campbell and Cheryl Cummings serve up a plethora of tasty treats and delectable dishes, topped off with a healthy garnish of humor.  Broadcast over ACB radio and a number of reading services throughout the country, this program continues to inspire vision impaired listeners to lace up their aprons, grab their spatulas and battle it out in the kitchen.

Children's Hour

Aimed at our younger listening audience and includes readings of popular children's books, Muse Magazine, stories written by host children, poems and an occasional guest interview.

Backyard Bookshelf

Audio Journal's only book reading program, which always has a local flavor, whether by content or author. *(IAAIS Program of the Year 2002)
