Audio Journal Volunteer Appreciation Party 2009

The staff and board of Audio Journal tried to do the impossible by showing the volunteers just how much they are appreciated. The venue was the beautiful Worcester Art Museum, and the results were pretty fantastic.
The event featured great food provided by WAM, great entertainment provided by Jackie and Judy Graham and Jane Morin, some educational fun in the form of an "Art Quest" prepared by Bob and Michelle Currie, with prizes generously provided by their company, Currie Management, and more laughs than usually legally allowed. An additional large thank you to Currie Management for helping with the food expenses.
Board President Arthur Russo welcomed nearly 150 volunteers and guests, and expressed how vital each was in making this service possible. Volunteer coordinator Valerie Clapham presented plaques to Javier Rodriguez and Josh Pearson for their efforts in completing the Audio Journal Community Based Employment Program. Former trainee Melissa Payne, who was unable to attend, was also recognized.
Our regrets to all who could not join us for the fun. Hopefully you will be with us at our next event. To all who volunteer at Audio Journal a sincere and warm THANK YOU!!!
